This eyelet kit is a useful addition to your toolbox, and could come in handy when you need to mend a cover or sail. Plastic eyelets are non-corrosive, lightweight and easy to assemble they are a great alternative to brass.

The kit has an eyelet, ring, punch and die. The punch and die can be used to make the hole, using one side of the die that has a cutting edge and the blunt end of the punch. You then fit the eye and ring which can be gripped together using the other end of the punch and die. It is a simple and effective way to make eyelets.
