Soft, top quality caulking cotton made up of eight strands totaling an uncompressed diameter of approximately 8mm. Used for the caulking and re-caulking of wooden carvel planked classic boats and new build wooden yachts. The caulking is often pushed in to place with a caulking iron, in turn, hammered by a caulking mallet.
Caulking cotton is sold by weight and is available in a half kilogram bale or 5-kilogram bale. We usually hold good stocks but for larger jobs, or a shipwright wishing to hold stock on hand please contact us for bulk pricing and delivery options.
